1st day: Paris
Welcome to Europe! Today you fly into Paris - our starting point for this trip. To get an overview of the city you can immediately enjoy your first guided orientation tour, which shows you the most important sights of Paris: the Eiffel tower, the Louvre museum, Versailles castle and many more. In the evening you can admire the illuminated inner city while touring through Paris by bus.
2nd day: Paris - Brussels - Bruges
From Paris you start your journey to the north, to Brussels. The buildings and styles could hardly be more different: Historical buildings from neo classic and gothic to ultramodern office buildings of banks, insurance companies or buildings of the European Union. The best known landmark of Brussels is the oversize "Atomium" with its amusement park. During your walking tour with a guide you discover hidden corners and visit the famous Mannequin Pis. In the evening you continue your journey to Bruges, where you spend the night.
3rd day: Bruges - Rotterdam - The Hague
The city of Bruges has a calm and relaxing charisma with its beautiful parks and its nice taverns and restaurants. The numerous waterways add to the city’s special atmosphere. You can buy delicious chocolates for your loved ones back home. After your city walk you can round off your visit with a typical “Grachten – Cruise”. In the afternoon you continue to Rotterdam, where you will experience a totally different flair. As one of the most important trading cities in Europe Rotterdam has the biggest harbour of Europe. In the evening you move on to The Hague, where you spend the night.
4th day: The Hague - Amsterdam
The Hague is Europe’s city of peace and justice where numerous organisations operating in international law are based. Later in the day you continue to the capital of the Netherlands - Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a lively and vibrant city, full of surprises. Go on a Grachten cruise, watching townhouses from the 17th century pass by. Admire the works of old and modern masters in the museums and enjoy the Dutch or international cuisine.
5th day: Amsterdam - Maastricht
In the morning you have time to visit this impressive city together with a guide and to buy souvenirs in the town centre. Afterwards you carry on to Maastricht – a city that owes its vivacity to its students. Discover the highlights of the city by joining a guided orientation tour.
6th day: Maastricht - Luxembourg
Today you head off to one of the smallest states in Europe - Luxembourg. It is one of the most important financial centres of the world, the seat of several European institutions and a country with a history of over 1000 years. Conveniently located in the heart of Europe, surrounded by France, Germany and Belgium, Luxembourg protected its identity and developed a character of its own. During a short city walk you discover all the places of interest.
7th day: Luxembourg - Strasbourg
This morning you head off to Strasbourg, a city of historical importance. Enjoy the Rhenish architecture with its timberhouses. Go on a guided orientation tour taking all in that the city has to offer. If there is some time left you can go on a little shopping tour.
8th day: Strasbourg - Geneva
In the morning you travel to the next city in yet another country - Geneva. This magnificent Swiss city has a number of interesting sights like the English garden, the cathedral St. Pierre, the University and the Botanic Garden. Your first orientation tour you do together with a guide.
9th day: Geneva - Turin - Nice
Another day – another country. Today you cross the border of Italy, going to the typical Italian city of Turin in the North-West of the country. Besides visiting the most important sights you should definitely try some pasta and pizza. In the afternoon you head further South to the French Riviera and its famous city Nice, where you stay overnight.
10th day: Nice - Marseille
Start the day with a guided orientation tour in the city of glamour. The rich and famous have built impressive mansions here. Maybe you can catch a glimpse of Cindy Crawford or Richard Gere. Continue your journey to Marseille, located on the gulf of Lion, in a Mediterranean bay. It is the second largest city of France and you can experience the Mediterranean atmosphere in every sight, shop or restaurant.
11th day: Marseille – Barcelona
In the early morning you take the ferry across the Mediterranean Sea, arriving in Spain’s most impressive city – Barcelona. In the very South of Europe you can find one of the most famous churches as well: The Sagrada Familia (“holy family”). Do not miss to see this impressive building on your guided orientation tour of the city.
12th day: Barcelona – Paris
From Barcelona you catch the high speed train to return to your starting point Paris from where you can catch your flight back home. Goodbye Europe!
